Ira. L. Brody

Ira L. Brody has established a reputation for himself as one of the premier businessmen in the county. Guiding his company in the role of Managing Partner for Broad Park Capital, LLC., a specialty finance company located in Murfreesboro, TN., Ira continues to maintain strong relationships with some of the our countries most influential political and business leaders. Ira holds a BA in Political Economy from Tulane University, an MBA from American University and a law degree from Cardozo Law School. His integrity is unquestioned and his work ethic to succeed has also driven Ira to be passionate about numerous philanthropic causes which is how the idea of Rutherford LEAP came about. He is married to Sara and has four children.

Sara A. Brody
Director, Rutherford LEAP

Sara A. Brody has had a life long ambition of creating a non profit organization dedicated to enhancing the future of young people. After a 22 year investment banking career with Lehman Brothers, Inc., where she served for her last six years as a Vice President in the Information Technology Division, Sara left the company to make her dream a reality. Rutherford LEAP was created to help prepare today’s children with the tools they need to be successful through the use of technology in the classroom on a regular basis.

Sara graduated from Binghamton University with a BS in Political Science. In addition to other professional affliliations, she completed a Certificate of Completion in Nonprofit Board Training in 2004, is a current member of the Center for Nonprofit Management in Nashville and is on the Board of Directors for the Discovery Center and Linebaugh Library Foundation, both organizations,  located in Murfreesboro.
